We Once Had A Dream
Welcome to our reality. We are Jim and Terri Everett and have two handsome sons, Peter (1996) and Chris (2002)
We are delighted to share our beautiful piece of paradise with you. Some may say we are lucky? but we know life is what you make it and that is exactly what we have done. built our beautiful property and life style from scratch.
Having visited New Zealand from England on our honeymoon in the early 1990’s, we were captivated by the style of living and warmth of the local welcomes. We returned to bring up our boys here and have been part of the local community and the Nelson and Tasman tourism and wedding industry ever since.
We Are A Practical Family
We are a practical family, maneuvering daily life between our dreams and realities. Jim is an engineer and I am a registered New Zealand celebrant and event/elopement consultant, but above all we are the proud creators of this brand new property, with many added benefits. We have designed it after years of talking with and listening to visitors who yearn for luxury with privacy with flexibility to pick and choose the services on offer.
It started with this block of unruly bush, viewed by many with excitement, but they were all put off by the challenge it presented. This was a challenge that only urged us to put our hearts and heads together and take the plunge. After many years of contemplating and planning, we are now delighted to open the doors and welcome visitors to experience this unbelievable piece of paradise with us.
You will share our home with our elderly dog Holly and funny JR Yobie, a lazy cat; Zozzy and 6 busy hens around the property and of course all the wild life. Our pets love nothing more than cuddles and to entertain. the advantage of our tree top canopy houses is the variety of New Zealand birds who visit us at their birds eye level and sing with exuberance during the morning and evening chorus.
At certain times of the year we are lucky enough to view from our deck, pods of dolphins and the occasional whales as they migrate and enjoy the feeding grounds. We have a resident sting ray and the little blue penguins but to see these you need to be an early bird and of course our nesting Shags (Cormorants)
We look forwards to meeting with you.
